People. Lighting. Places. My children will tell you that I have often stopped them, pressed them up against some beautifully lit wall, at a magical time of day, in a moment that strikes me. They have long ago gotten used to that. I have photographs from long ago of them, and other humans who’ve come into my life at the right time, who don’t mind me pushing them around.
I was just saying, lately I haven’t been taking photos. It’s winter. I’m unmoved, or maybe a little overwhelmed by the lack of light, the smallness of the opportunity to have good and beautiful sunlight – Especially if I happen to spend more time inside in these cold months. This is so.
